Reps. Paul Gosar and Andy Biggs won their respective primary elections in Arizona on Tuesday night.
The Associated Press called the race for Trump-endorsed incumbent Congressman Gosar in Arizona’s 9th Congressional District. With roughly 64 percent of the vote counted, Gosar held a wide gap, earning roughly 63.7 percent, according to the latest election results.
As the projected winner, Gosar will not face a Democrat opponent and will be officially elected in November’s election, Axios further stated.
Biggs, who ran unopposed, clinched the GOP nomination. He will face off against Democrat Javier Ramos in November.
The incumbent congressmen, who was not endorsed by Trump, will go up against their Democrat challengers in the November election.
