The Federal Election Commission announced Wednesday it fined Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) for “lying” about funding the conspiratorial Russian dossier used to slander then 2016 presidential nominee Donald Trump, Washington Examiner reported.

The FEC said Clinton and the DNC violated rules after mislabeling payments that went towards orchestrating the Russian collusion hoax as “legal advice and services.”

According to the Washington Examiner, $1,024,407.97 went to the law firm Perkins Coie for Fusion GPS’s opposition research on the dossier. However, both parties denied any wrongdoing, claiming their labeling of payments was correct since Perkins Coie hired Fusion GPS.

Nonetheless, the FEC maintained its position that both Clinton and the DNC acted in violation of the law.

The outlet reported:

“It added that neither the campaign nor the party conceded to lying but won’t contest the finding. ‘Solely for the purpose of settling this matter expeditiously and to avoid further legal costs, respondent[s] does not concede, but will not further contest the commission’s finding of probable cause to proceed’ with the probe, said the FEC.”

For the violation, the FEC fined Clinton’s treasurer $8,000 and the DNC’s treasurer $105,000, according to a memo the agency sent to the Coolidge Reagan Foundation.

The agency’s decision to hold the inventors of the Russian collusion hoax accountable follows a filing from Special Counsel John Durham, revealing Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign hired a technology firm to “infiltrate” Trump Tower and White House servers to link Trump to pro-Russian operatives.

The revelation confirmed what Trump alleged happened all along – Hillary Clinton spied on his campaign.

Moreover, President Trump, last week announced he had filed a massive lawsuit against Clinton, the DNC, and other conspirators of the collusion narrative.

“Acting in concert, the Defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent, Donald J. Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty,” the filing states.

They spend over $1,000,000 fabricating and disseminating false material for the specific purpose of election interference then overthrowing a duly elected President and get a wrist slap instead of serious jail time??? How is this a "win"?
