General Electric CANCELS vaccine and testing mandate after SCOTUS decision

Following the Supreme Court’s 6-3 decision to block the Biden administration’s vaccine-or test decree for businesses of 100 or more workers, General Electric announced that it would suspend implementation of the rule.

Headquartered in Boston, Mass., the electrical company employees over 100,000 people to manufacture aerospace, medical, and energy products. The conglomerate organization is one of the first major employers to suspend its conditional terms of employment brought about by the Biden administrations unconstitutional health order.

The Supreme Court made its declaration three days after the original OSHA vaccine mandate was to take place. The mandate would have forced 84 million people to receive the Covid-19 vaccine or undergo regular testing. However, in an unsigned opinion, Justices Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch stated that, “Congress has nowhere clearly assigned that much power to OSHA.”

In a battle to preserve Americans’ right to determine one’s own medical decisions, the ruling is another win for conservatives among many taking place across the country.

In December, the state Supreme Court of Pennsylvania struck down Democrat Gov. Tom Wolf’s school mask mandate in a unanimous 6-0 decision. State justices ruled that the mask requirements were invalid since they were imposed without the consent of the state’s Health Secretary, Alison Beam. Adding to the insult of Gov. Wolf, Democrats maintain controlling majority of Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court.

Within one week, the Biden administration witnessed two of its top agenda items dissolve into thin air. Compounded with a failed attempt to rally enough votes to terminate the filibuster, the Supreme Court’s pronouncement adds yet another hurdle to Joe Biden’s draconian presidency.

Praising the court’s resolution, President Donald Trump responded by saying, “We are proud of the Supreme Court for not backing down. No mandates!”

The fight to preserve medical autonomy is an ongoing battle, but in the words of President Trump, American freedom is, “winning, winning, winning.”
