President Trump spoke to the hearts of millions of MAGA voters and red-blooded American conservatives on Monday night, hinting that his trademark campaign rallies would soon be back in action. “We’re going to be starting the rallies,” he told an audience gathered at Club 47 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
He poked fun at the mainstream media, noting that they had accused him of “not campaigning” for president since November 2024, even though the presidential election is nearly two years away.
“You know, it was amazing. I wanted to put my cards on the table,” he said. “So, I announced a little early – like two years in advance. And then a week went by and, you know, I didn’t do much. It’s TWO YEARS. And the Fake News Media goes, ‘He’s not campaigning!’ I got two years. ‘He hasn’t done a rally yet.’ You know, six days went by, I hadn’t done a rally.”
In January, President Trump promised that “MANY GIANT RALLIES and other events” would be happening soon. “It will all be wild and exciting,” he wrote on Truth Social. “We will save our Country from DOOM and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
President Trump’s signature rally events are known for drawing thousands of people. In 2022, the president utilized the full might of his influence to mobilize a nationwide voting base in a bid to send a slate of America First candidates to Congress in the midterms.
He held massive rallies across the country in places like Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, Nevada, and Arizona ahead of both the primary and general elections.
Although it is early in the GOP presidential primary race, President Trump has steadily maintained a sizable lead.
According to data from Big Village, Trump is holding 50 percent of Republican support for the Republican presidential primary nomination, while possible political rival, Governor Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., only snagged 24 percent.
