America First trailblazers are standing with President Trump now that he has been indicted and faces criminal charges.
The legality of the Manhattan DA’s office pursuing legal repercussions against him has been questioned since news broke that an indictment was being considered, per RSBN.
Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake released her own official statement not only supporting President Trump, but also calling out the political nature of the charges.
She noted, “This is a dark moment in the history of our nation. The radical left and their weaponized criminal justice system have crossed all legal and ethical lines in an attempt to destroy President Donald J. Trump.”
Lake described how political attacks are used to silence opponents in third-world countries and dictatorships. She accused the left of political persecution, then asserted President Trump’s innocence.
She also described how this issue should receive opposition from both sides of the aisle, stating, “The precedent this sets threatens to further divide a country already on the verge of tearing itself apart.”
After releasing her statement she backed it up with a tweet condemning the “8 years of constant attacks on President Trump” that Americans have witnessed.
Despite various investigations, allegations, and rumors, President Trump has not been convicted of any crimes. This has led Kari Lake and millions of Americans to question the justice system, leading many to believe that this indictment truly is “a dark moment” for the country.
