House Judiciary Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, is going after several intelligence officials who signed a letter in October 2020 suggesting that Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop story was “Russian disinformation.”
According to a report from Just the News, Jordan, along with House Intelligence Committee Chair Rep. Mike Turner, R-Ohio, sent a letter this week to 12 of the 51 original signers of the “Russian disinformation” letter in 2020.
Per the Daily Wire, the Republican leaders demanded full compliance for a previous request asking for documents and testimony in April 2022: “As we begin the 118th Congress, we write again to reiterate our outstanding request and ask that you immediately comply in full,” Jordan’s and Turner’s correspondence demanded.
Mainstream media sources infamously buried the story surrounding Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop right before the 2020 presidential election. In December 2022, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani accused multiple conservative news outlets of suppressing the story.
As reported by RSBN, Giuliani told Newsmax, “I had this whole thing – let’s say half of it; certainly enough to prosecute — in 2019.”
According to the Daily Wire’s report, the following individuals were included as recipients of Jordan and Turner’s letter: “Rick Ledgett, John McLaughlin, Michael Morell, Nicholas Rasmussen, Russell Travers, Michael Vickers, Nick Shapiro, Jeremy Bash, Thomas Fingar, and Michael Hayden.”
The revelations of the “Twitter Files” in recent months also shined a spotlight on evidence of Big Tech’s corruption. Twitter itself was caught suppressing the story of the Hunter Biden laptop, according to the very first Twitter Files data drop.
President Trump wrote of social media’s collusion with federal agencies, “THE TWITTER AND FACEBOOK SCANDAL HAS ALREADY PROVEN TO BE, WITH THE POSSIBLE EXCEPTION OF SPYING ON MY CAMPAIGN, THEIR MOST SINISTER ACT IN HISTORY.”
