Fiery Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., told Fox News Digital that she was open to running for president.

“Those are the things I’m definitely interested in, as long as I think they’re achievable, and I can be effective in those roles,” she told the outlet referring to a possible presidential bid one day.

She continued, “But we’ll see what happens down the road.”

Greene also gave her thoughts on qualifications for a new House Speaker on Friday at CPAC Texas, where she appeared on the main stage and answered questions about her legislative work in Washington D.C.

She said she was looking for “fearless leadership” in a potential new Speaker of the House if the GOP takes back the House after the midterm elections in 2022. “I’m looking for a speaker that’s not gonna be pushed around by the lobbyists and the corporate PACs because I don’t take their money,” she said.

According to Fox, Greene has raised an impressive $10 million for her campaign for reelection this year. She further told Fox Digital: “I’d love to see the Republican Party being the party that truly represents the American people. I think the inner circle inside the GOP is struggling to find that identity, but I hope to play a big role in helping them really realize what their voters want.”

The congresswoman is no stranger to conflicts with the establishment in Washington D.C. and stated during her main CPAC comments that she was the most “attacked” member of Congress in the history of the United States.

However, Greene is very popular in her home state of Georgia. In May, she handily won her Georgia primary for reelection and is poised to win big again in the general election in November.
