Michigan election chief accepted illegal money from Mark Zuckerberg to influence 2020 election: report

Michigan Democrat Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is being accused of accepting money from Mark Zuckerberg during the 2020 presidential election. A new lawsuit brought by the Thomas More Society claims she did so with the intent of swaying election results favorably for Joe Biden, according to Just the News.

Zuckerberg has been under intense scrutiny over the past year for donating $400 million dollars to 2020 presidential election processes in key states across the country through his non-profit organization, the Center for Technology and Civic Life (CTCL).

In fact, the Wisconsin GOP is considering constitutionally banning out-of-state elitists, like Zuckerberg, from donating to state elections, due to his involvement in Wisconsin election processes, as previously reported by RSBN.

The lawsuit against Sec. Benson additionally cites 19 payments in excess of $100,000 in election jurisdictions that went blue for Biden in Democrat strongholds, Just the News added.

Interestingly, Michigan, like Wisconsin, proposed a bill in the legislature that would also ban private funding of public elections in Senate Bill 303, via Center Square. However, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) vetoed the bill in 2021.

As election fraud and irregularities have continued to be uncovered throughout the course of 2021 and now 2022, many Americans are rightfully concerned about the security of state and federal elections. President Donald Trump has decried the shocking and numerous allegations and reports of fraud nationwide. As recently as last week, he said, “I was proven right about the spying [Durham report], and I will be proven right about 2020!”

Whether or not Sec. Benson accepted money illegally from Zuckerberg to purposely sway the election remains to be proven in court, but the allegation is a serious one that further casts doubt on the integrity and security of the election system in the state of Michigan.
