The state of Texas, far from “going blue,” is going to be redder than ever this Election Day,  according to President Donald J. Trump.

Speaking Saturday at a Save America rally in Robstown, Texas, Trump noted, “During the primaries, MAGA went undefeated in Texas – 33 and 0!”

Touting his impressive endorsement record as evidence, the 45th president added, “And this Nov. 8, the MAGA movement is going to deliver another Texas-sized landslide.”

According to recent generic polling, Republicans continue to hold an advantage over Democrats heading into this year’s midterm elections.

Further, Real Clear Politics has predicted that the GOP could take at least 220 congressional seats compared to the Democrats’ 180.

With just over two weeks to go until Election Day and historic inflation plaguing the nation, the likelihood of things turning in the Democrats’ favor – particularly in traditionally red Texas – seems unlikely. Nonetheless, voters will undoubtedly be watching closely to see what this year’s midterms have in store.
