President Trump sent a clear and effective message to Joe Biden during his trip to East Palestine, Ohio on Wednesday: “Get over here!”

His comments were made to reporter Savanah Hernandez when she asked what his message to Joe Biden would be.

To date, Biden has not yet visited East Palestine in the wake of the toxic chemical train catastrophe that has allegedly poisoned the community’s water and affected the health of residents and animals living in the area.

Biden instead opted to take an overseas trip to Ukraine, where he promised to send another $500 million in military aid to the embattled Eastern European nation.

On Thursday, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen announced that the U.S. would be sending an additional $10 billion in economic assistance for Ukraine.

As reported by RSBN, the lack of response from the Biden administration to the catastrophe in Ohio has drawn severe criticism from the public. Initially, FEMA denied aid for the disaster zone until President Trump announced that he would be visiting.

Trump wrote on Truth Social that he was glad FEMA had opted to take action: “Biden and FEMA said they would not be sending federal aid to East Palestine. As soon as I announced that I’m going, he announced a team will go. Hopefully he will also be there. This is good news because we got them to ‘move.’ The people of East Palestine need help. I’ll see you on Wednesday!”

Unfortunately, Biden has not yet opted to visit Ohio. On Wednesday, Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, made a visit to Namibia in Africa, while Trump was delivering pallets of clean water and food to affected American residents of the East Palestine community.

According to the Associated Press, the Bidens’ trip to Africa will last five days.
