President Donald Trump’s back-to-back appearances over the weekend in Salem, New Hampshire, and Columbia, South Carolina, drew tremendous viewership online. According to a new statement from the president, his events drew over 80,000,000 views.

“WOW, BIG news just in!” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “My weekend visit to New Hampshire and South Carolina was record setting business on social media! Over 80,000,000 watched. It is no surprise now why the Fake News Media ratings are SO BAD. People want honest coverage!”

Trump shared a graphic along with his comments that highlighted the social media reach of his events, including mentions on platforms. Per the graphic shared by the president, there were 14,911 mentions online and 79,472,317 people reached. The graphic included 51,546,570 reached who were “non social.”

Trump delivered the keynote address to the New Hampshire Republican State Committee on Saturday, kicking off his 2024 presidential campaign in the Granite State with remarks that highlighted his administration’s accomplishments – and the accomplishments to come.

“I’m more angry now and I’m more committed now than I ever was,” Trump remarked.

Several hours later, Trump made an appearance at the South Carolina State House to unveil his South Carolina Leadership Team for the 2024 presidential campaign. The team includes Gov. Henry McMaster, R-S.C., Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., and Rep. Russell Fry, R-S.C., among others.

Trump promised Americans that as Commander in Chief again, he would make it his “personal mission to put a secure middle-class lifestyle within the reach of every South Carolina family.”

Trump has historically drawn record views for his unprecedented rally events. His 2024 campaign announcement in November 2022 at Mar-a-Lago drew nearly four million viewers on Right Side Broadcasting Network alone. Around 2.5 million of those views were generated on Rumble, the free speech video streaming platform alternative to Big Tech’s YouTube.
