Ted Cruz moves to send illegal immigrants to wealthy Democrat areas

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz announced new legislation this week aimed at alleviating overcrowded border crossings by transporting undocumented migrants in Democrat populated areas including Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, and Cambridge.

“Democrats need to the face the disaster of their policies and the humanitarian misery they are causing,” said Cruz when explaining the bill’s intention.

The Lone Star conservative has been tough on the Biden administration for its extremely loose immigration policy that has overwhelmed border towns like Del Rio, Texas. According to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, “Nearly 30,000 migrants have been encountered at Del Rio since September 9th.”

As a solution, Cruz’s Stop the Surge of Unsafe Rio Grande Encampments Act seeks to be a defensive measure by creating new pathways for entry. “To address the surge in the illegal border crossings along the southwest border by establishing new ports of entry for processing migrants in accordance with the Immigration and Nationality Act and section 362 of the Public Health Service Act,” said Cruz.

Continuing with his criticism of Joe Biden, “For the past ten months, President Biden and his administration have willingly surrendered the United States’ southern border to dangerous criminal cartels,” Cruz added.

As thousands of illegals flood across the border daily, Cruz laments that the nearby American neighborhoods can’t withstand the activity. “With no thought given to South Texas border communities like McAllen and Del Rio, which are running low on resources from dealing with the massive influx of illegal immigrants,” said the Texas senator.

The bill would create 13 points of entry in wealthy Democrat areas including Block Island in Rhode Island, Governor’s Island and Scarsdale in New York, Rehoboth Beach in Delaware, North Hero in Vermont, and Palo Alto, Yountville, and St. Helena of California.

Unfortunately, “The Democrats aren’t going to move it because they’re perfectly fine being hypocrites,” Cruz predicted.
