President Donald Trump made it very clear on Tuesday that the recent hostage trade between the Biden administration and the Iran regime set a “TERRIBLE precedent” for future negotiations.
On Truth Social, the 45th president slammed Biden’s leadership for the deal, roasting him as “INCOMPETENT.”
According to the Associated Press, the Biden administration has greenlit a trade for five U.S. citizens who have been held in Iran in exchange for unfreezing $6 billion in Iranian money “without fear of U.S. sanctions.” They are also releasing five detained Iranian citizens back to their home country.
Trump wrote, “So, lets get this straight! We did a hostage TRADE with Iran. We gave them 5 very tough, smart people that they desperately wanted. We likewise got back 5 people BUT, we also gave them 6 BILLION DOLLARS! How much of a kickback does Crooked Joe Biden get?”
He reminded Americans that during the Trump administration, he negotiated for the release of 58 hostages “for ZERO money.”
Trump called on Republicans to use the 25th Amendment against Biden, which could open the door to the removal of a president like Biden, who is unfit or unable to carry out the duties of his position.
He stressed, “Republicans, call out the 25th Amendment, NOW! Biden is INCOMPETENT!’
Trump called the nation “a shadow of its former self” under the destructive policies of the Biden administration. He added, “Ukraine, Inflation, Bad Economy, Woke Military, No World Standing, No Respect, and today, 6 Billion Dollars for hostages. Where is the call from Republicans for the 25th Amendment?”
President Trump further scorched Biden as an “incompetent FOOL” and warned that the $6 billion Biden is giving to the Iranians will be used for terrorism “all over the Middle East, and, indeed, the World.”
