Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., has made no secret of her viewpoint on the potential threats posed by ongoing unchecked illegal immigration at the U.S. border, warning on X recently that “Americans are sitting ducks!!!”
She explained, “We have no idea who or what is in this country. All we know is we have millions of military aged men with unknown backgrounds scattered throughout. We’ve caught known terrorists at the border, but how many didn’t we catch? Secretary Mayorkas must be impeached for dereliction of duty and for encouraging this invasion!”
Numerous reports have emerged of young men traveling across the open border, begging the question: what are they doing here?
According to a report from Fox News in early December, retired Yuma Border Patrol Chief Chris Clem stated that at the southern border, they were seeing “military-age, single, adult males, mostly single adult males.”
He added to the outlet, “We just had about eight Syrian nationals come across. There’s people from all over the world showing up here, right here in Lukeville.”
On Monday, following shocking video footage shared by Bill Melugin on Fox News of the deluge of illegal migrants at the border, Rep. Greene continued her thoughts on X.
She stated, “The INVASION at our southern border is beyond impeachment. It should be considered treason. Joe Biden, Mayorkas, and the rest of his administration need to be held accountable.”
According to Melugin’s report on Fox, authorities are allegedly shutting down railway operations at the border at Eagle Pass, Texas.
Melugin said, “CBP has announced that they are suspending railway operations to move CBP officers down into the field to help Border Patrol with processing. “In other words, they’re shutting down international commerce in order to help speed up processing of these migrants – many of them, again, will be released.”
He added that the U.S. was on track to have the busiest month of arrests in December on record at the southern border, according to the Border Patrol union.
Rep. Greene’s concern with the U.S. border situation is not unique, as many Americans are worried about the unknown threats that have likely been introduced into the domestic fabric of U.S. cities and towns.
In his remarks on Sunday in Reno, Nevada, President Trump flamed the catastrophic crisis, noting the “tens of thousands of Chinese nationals” coming across the border.
He stated, “The perfect age for an army: is that what they’re doing?”
