President Donald Trump’s economy garnered another win on Wednesday as Whirlpool Corporation announced a new and massive investment in the U.S. economy that is expected to create hundreds of new jobs for Americans.

The laundry-centered manufacturing company, based in Michigan, will invest a whopping $300 million into its U.S. facilities, according to the company. This will create between 400 and 600 new jobs, Whirlpool said.

“Whirlpool Corporation’s unwavering commitment to American manufacturing is a cornerstone of our identity,” said Marc Bitzer, chairman and CEO of Whirlpool Corporation, in an official statement.

He continued, “This $300 million investment in our Clyde and Marion facilities underscores our dedication to creating jobs, fostering innovation, and delivering high-quality, American-made appliances to U.S. consumers.”

This investment is the latest in a series of significant commitments from companies at home and abroad in the United States since President Trump took office in January.

As reported by RSBN, in just the first 100 days of his administration, the president accrued $5 trillion in investments and created 450,000 jobs for Americans. Since then, trillions of dollars have continued to be invested in the U.S.

According to the White House, the total amount of U.S. and foreign investments in America is currently $8.8 trillion. This includes commitments from countries like the United Arab Emirates ($1.4 trillion), Qatar ($1.2 trillion), and Japan ($1 trillion).

It also includes massive companies like Apple ($600 billion), NVIDIA ($500 billion), and IBM ($150 billion).

In addition to this massive domestic influx of manufacturing and investment, President Trump’s administration has also raked in a staggering $214.9 billion in tariff revenue under the president’s new trade policies, which were implemented earlier this spring, per Fox Business. $31.3 billion of that tariff revenue was collected in September alone, the outlet reported.
