An Arizona woman was sentenced Monday to three years of probation and fined $890 after illegally voting for her dead mother in the 2020 election.

According to Just the News, Krista Michelle Conner was sentenced Monday to three years of supervised probation for knowingly casting an illegal vote in place of her deceased mother in Cochise County for the 2020 presidential election.

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich released the following statement in a press release Monday:

“Krista Michelle Conner of Cochise County was sentenced today (June 6, 2022) by Judge Timothy Dickerson of Cochise County Superior Court to three (3) years of supervised probation on one count of Illegal Voting, a Class 6 felony, for illegally casting the early ballot of her deceased mother during the November 2020 general election.”

Monday’s press release also explained, “Conner illegally placed a signature on the envelope of her recently deceased mother’s early ballot envelope and cast a vote on behalf of Caroline Jeanne Sullivan. Sullivan died approximately one month before Conner signed the envelope.”

According to Fox 10 Phoenix, Conner pleaded guilty to the charges in April.

The judge’s sentence for Conner comes with 100 hours of community service, an $890 fine, and her voter registration temporarily revoked until her three-year probation period is complete.

Conner’s indictment is just one more example of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 general election. It also emphasizes the dangers of mail-in ballots and the insecurity of America’s elections.
