As the Biden administration has authorized the deployment of 1,500 U.S. troops to the border ahead of Title 42’s looming expiration, the left-wing media and Biden’s supporters have remained odiously silent, highlighting a level of hypocrisy among those who criticized President Trump for sending troops to the border during his term.

According to a report from Fox News, mainstream outlets in 2018 slammed Trump for sending troops to stop a caravan of illegal immigrants from Central America from crossing over the U.S. border.

However, Biden’s move to do what may be a similar action has received little to no glaring media attention.

Earlier this week, Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy called out White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre for claiming that illegal migration had fallen more than “90 percent.”

“You said yesterday that when it comes to illegal migration, you’ve seen it come down by more than 90 percent,” he stated. “Where did that number come from?”

“…If the dramatics could come down just a little bit,” Jean-Pierre responded.

“What’s dramatic about asking a question about [immigration]?” he countered.

Despite the media’s detuned coverage of Biden’s approval of 1,500 troops, some Democrats have voiced their criticism of the move. Fox News shared that Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., for example, claimed that militarizing the border would somehow create “victims” of a policy that would violate human rights.

As reported by RSBN, Title 42 enabled immigration authorities in the U.S. to control the flow of incoming illegals. With the rule set to expire next week, videos on social media have surfaced revealing busloads of international immigrants headed straight for the U.S. border.

According to CBS, the troops that have been deployed have not been given law enforcement duties. Rather, they have been directed to assist with transportation, narcotics detection, and other supportive tasks.
