President Donald Trump’s youngest son Barron Trump was photographed on Wednesday morning departing Trump Tower in New York City to begin his college career.

Shortly thereafter, he was seen arriving on campus at New York University. With Secret Service agents flanking him at every step, the 18-year-old visited the dean’s office and then headed to his first class, according to the New York Post.

Just a few weeks ago, Trump revealed that his son would be attending college in New York, but did not elaborate any further.

“He’s all set in a certain school that’s very good,” Trump told the New York Post in an exclusive interview. “He’s always been a very good student, he’s smart,” Trump said.

With the mystery now solved, it seems both logical and convenient for the Secret Service that Barron chose to attend NYU, just three miles from Trump Tower.

Barron’s major remains unknown, but he is interested in politics, according to his father.

The 45th president and his two other sons, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., all obtained college degrees related to business and economics. Trump’s daughters, Ivanka Trump and Tiffany Trump, hold degrees in economics and law, respectively.

During a recent interview with Fox News host Mark Levin, Trump discussed the moment that his son learned of the attempted assassination against him.

Trump told Levin, “Barron was outside having a tennis lesson, noting that his son was “a good tennis player.”

He revealed that someone ran up to the teen and said, “Barron! Barron! Your father’s been shot!”

Trump told Levin, “He was – he loves his father, he’s a good kid, good student, good athlete actually – and he ran, ‘Mom! What’s going on? What’s going on?’”

Just four days before the attempted assassination, Barron Trump attended his first-ever Trump rally at Trump National Doral Miami.

His father proudly told the crowd that his son “got into every college he wanted to and he made his choice.”

With a wave and a fist pump to the crowd, the young teen proudly turned and pointed to his father on stage.
