On Day 1 of President Donald Trump’s second administration, he rolled out a plethora of executive orders to crack down on the previous administration’s failed illegal immigration policy.

Trump-appointed border czar Tom Homan confirmed in an interview with Fox News’ “America Reports” that criminal illegal migrants will be sent back to their home country, with ICE raids underway

The Trump administration also canceled the CBP One app. Migrants beyond the southern border found out the app was shut down and the appointments at the port of entry were no longer valid after Trump took office on his first day.

Trump continued to deliver on his campaign promise to secure the nation’s southern borders by prioritizing safety in cities and streets nationwide by focusing on arresting illegal criminals, drug cartels and gang members as a part of Homan’s targeted enforcement operations.

These efforts reverse the previous administration’s open border policy by enforcing strict U.S. immigration policy. Foreign nationals need to enter the U.S. through the legal family or employment-based immigration process instead of breaking U.S. immigration law according to USCIS.
