President Donald Trump will participate in a live town hall event hosted by CNN in New Hampshire, Trump Senior Advisor Jason Miller confirmed in a tweet.
Trump will take questions from audience members, comprised of undeclared voters and New Hampshire Republicans, who plan to vote in the presidential primaries next year.
The town hall event will take place at Saint Anselm College, and air live at 9:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, May 10.
It will also be moderated by CNN anchor and former White House correspondent, Kaitlan Collins.
Trump will return to New Hampshire less than two weeks after he visited downtown Manchester, where he gave remarks for nearly two hours and took questions from audience members.
Trump is also scheduled to kick off even more events ahead of the 2024 presidential cycle, with his Save America PAC announcing that he will hold a rally in Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday, May 13.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden faces criticism for ignoring questions from reporters. Despite his fervent promise to be the most transparent president in history, Biden’s lack of communication with the press has become mainstream.
Since taking office, Biden has held 23 press conferences, and only two this year. Trump, in contrast, held 88 total press conferences during his time in office.
Biden joked about his lack of transparency during the White House Correspondent’s Dinner on Saturday, telling audience members, “In a lot of ways, this dinner sums up my first two years in office. I’ll talk for 10 minutes, take zero questions, and cheerfully walk away.”
