A conservative group is exposing shocking bias against President Donald Trump from federal government leaders ahead of the 2024 presidential election in November.
The American Accountability Foundation (AAF) has discovered numerous concerning statements in social media posts, statements and other media in his group’s ongoing efforts.
The AAF’s work has accelerated following the May announcement of receiving the Heritage Foundation’s Heritage Innovation Prize.
“We are extremely grateful to the Heritage Foundation for this great honor and opportunity,” said AAF President Tom Jones.
“The scourge of woke open-borders-loving bureaucrats obstructing border security and facilitating the invasion of our country is something that needs to be brought to the attention of the American people.”
The grant’s goal is to post 100 names of government workers on a website to show federal workers who are likely to oppose a second Trump term following the 2024 presidential election.
“We need to understand who these people are and what they do,” said Jones, according to a Newsmax report.
The report added that the federal government includes about 4,000 positions that are considered political appointees. These positions usually change with each presidential administration.
The AAF’s efforts have already earned the respect of conservatives, including a major presence in blocking key nominees during the Biden administration.
One of the group’s major victories included President Joe Biden’s FCC nominee Gigi Sohn withdrawing her nomination. The AAF ran numerous ads in its campaign to inform Americans of her liberal bias through its related website BidenNoms.com.
Among many concerns related to Sohn’s past, the AAF highlighted her anti-law enforcement stance.
“Ms. Sohn has a significant record of supporting anti-law enforcement statements on social media. In July of 2020, for example, during the riots in Portland, Oregon, she retweeted a tweet criticizing federal law enforcement officers as ‘armed goons in riot gear with tear gas’ while defending rioters who carried gas masks and shields,” an AAF press release stated.
“Further, over the past several years, she has retweeted tweets calling for the ‘defunding of police’. This shows an anti-police bias that should disqualify her as an official in the federal government,” it added.
The AAF also tracks the votes of Senate Republicans toward Biden nominees at BidenNoms.com.
The goal is to provide transparency and a historical record concerning the decisions in Congress toward the Biden administration and its efforts “to ensure that the American people and their elected representatives are educated about the background, ideology, and fitness of the men and women who seek appointment to high government office.”
