Conservatives shame Nikki Haley for ‘obvious’ plot to ‘eliminate’ Trump

According to the most recent Morning Consult GOP primary poll, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is polling 63 points behind President Donald Trump nationwide.

Despite the 45th president’s monstrous lead, Haley continues pursuing a 2024 presidential campaign, leading many conservatives to criticize her presence in the presidential race for the GOP nomination.

Vivek Ramaswamy, a businessman who dropped out of the GOP primary following the Iowa caucuses, observed on X:

“Nikki Haley is *not even on the ballot* in the Nevada GOP caucus & thus will get 0 delegates from NV. Here’s the ugly TRUTH: she isn’t even trying to beat Trump. Her sole strategy is to *eliminate* Trump. The plot is now more obvious than ever & it’s pathetic that no one sees it[.]”

Indeed, following a third-place finish in the Iowa caucuses and a loss to Trump in New Hampshire on Tuesday night, Haley has refused to accept her defeats in the battleground states and, bafflingly, resolved to trek onward toward the rest of the nation’s primary victories despite Trump’s dominance among GOP voters.

Notably, Haley’s campaign has reportedly been unabashedly funded by billionaire donors like Charles Koch and Reid Hoffman, which seems to be the only thing keeping her afloat in the race against Trump.

However, her beleaguered primary performance in the Granite State has reportedly caused LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman to “pause” his funding of Haley’s campaign, according to CNBC.

The outlet reported that Hoffman “does not plan to give any more money to Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign,” citing a source “familiar with the matter.”

Turning Point USA President Charlie Kirk observed that there was “no path for Nikki to be the nominee.” He added, “There is a path to slow down Trump and help Biden. That is what she is doing by remaining in this race.”
