Countless MAGA patriots in Council Bluffs, Iowa, lined the streets on Friday morning in a bid to hear remarks from President Donald Trump in his anticipated visit to the community.
Although Council Bluffs was smattered with rain on Friday, that didn’t stop supporters of Trump’s MAGA movement from showing up for the People’s President.
One supporter shared her thoughts about Trump with RSBN, stating, “He’s saving the world…he is tough, he doesn’t hold anything back and I like that about him. He’s not afraid, he’s like a lion – he IS the lion. He roars and that just makes people like, ‘Oh, shoot, let me step into my power! Oh my God!’ So, I love that about him!”
NBC news reporter Alex Tabet wrote on Twitter, “One man told me he’s been in line since 3AM.”
President Trump’s rally in Iowa comes less than a week after holding a massive Make America Great Again rally in Pickens, South Carolina, where he drew tens of thousands of patriots to the historic small town to celebrate America’s Independence Day.
In Iowa, Trump is leading comfortably in the race for the 2024 GOP primary nomination. Via RealClear Politics, Trump is holding an average 21.3-point lead in the state.
A recent Emerson College poll in Iowa even found that the president held a massive 42-point lead over the field of GOP contenders going into 2024. In the same poll, presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) earned 20 percent of support.
Ahead of President Trump’s remarks on Friday, a slate of special guest panelists has been scheduled to bring conversations to the audience around issues important to Iowans. Per RSBN, the panelists will focus on discussing agriculture in the state.
