National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard declassified documents reportedly implicating the Obama administration in manufacturing the debunked 2016 Trump-Russia collusion case.

The move comes after President Donald Trump faced continuous investigations and pushback by Democrats throughout his first term, claiming that the Russian government hacked and influenced the 2016 presidential election for him to defeat Hillary Clinton.

These accusations resulted in years-long witch-hunts, along with Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigation, with Party officials insisting that Russia influenced the election results in President Trump’s favor.

Now, Gabbard’s investigation suggests that these reports of collusion are entirely false, and that they were fabricated by former President Barack Obama and members of his administration.

During an exclusive interview with Fox News, Gabbard lambasted the administration for making an “intentional decision to create this manufactured, politicized piece of intelligence with the objective of subverting the will of the American people” by enacting a “years-long coup” against Donald Trump.

The document, according to the director, resulted in “A years-long Mueller investigation that cost taxpayers almost $40 million dollars, two congressional impeachments, endless smears and attacks against not only President Trump, but his family,” along with investigations and arrests of his team members, and tensions between the United States and Russia.

Declassified documents show that the Intelligence Community published a report insisting that “foreign adversaries do not have and will probably not obtain the capabilities to successfully execute widespread and undetected cyber attacks,” having published this report nearly two months before the 2016 general election.

However, after Trump was elected, the Obama administration pulled this intelligence report before it had been published.

Then, only one day after pulling the report, Obama met his national security team to discuss how Russia interfered in the election, according to Gabbard.

Obama officials then reportedly leaked false statements to the press, like the Washington Post, claiming that Russia had attempted through “cyber means” to “interfere in, if not actively influence,” President Trump’s win, records allege.

Gabbard’s team implicated then-National Intelligence Director James Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan, former FBI Director James Comey, and former National Security Advisor Susan Rice, along with President Obama, in the creation of the fake report, Fox News reported.

Likewise, the Russia-collusion hoax subsequently sparked seemingly non-stop negative coverage of the president’s first term, frequent impeachment talks, and high-profile Democrats, including Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, Jimmy Carter, Karine Jean-Pierre, Jerry Nadler, calling the election “stolen” and Trump an “illegitimate” president.

“The issue I am raising is not a partisan issue,” Gabbard said in a statement. “It is one that concerns every American. The information we are releasing today clearly shows there was a treasonous conspiracy in 2016 committed by officials at the highest level of our government.”

Gabbard further told Fox News that she would send these declassified documents to the Department of Justice and the FBI for a criminal referral, promising to do “all that [she] can” to ensure accountability.

“We have whistleblowers,” said Gabbard, “coming forward now after we released these documents because there are people who were around, who were working within the intelligence community at this time who were so disgusted by what happened.”
