Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem and the agency uncovered and terminated a multi-million-dollar Biden administration program promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in schools.

Originally, this program was established to provide students with tools to prevent terror and violence in their communities and schools. However, Joe Biden’s DHS later began working with left-wing groups, which supposedly shifted towards making “inclusive environments” in schools by pushing DEI and LGBTQ programs, Fox News reported.

The DHS projects that terminating the program will save over $1.5 million, according to the outlet.

Invent2Prevent’s website now shows a banner explaining that the page encompasses “Archived Content” which may now no longer “reflect current policy or programs.” Their X page, however, still notes several Biden-era posts promoting their controversial beliefs.

Invent2Prevent highlights an article by the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD), a group funded by Bill Gates and George Soros (through the Open Society Foundation), alleging that the right’s use of memes caused President Donald Trump’s presidential victory in 2016. They noted that their memes provided their “fascist ideology” as a recruitment tool.

Another article promoted by Invent2Prevent presumably branded those questioning the 2020 presidential election results as potential members in a “terrorist movement.”

“President Trump was given a mandate by the American people to eliminate wasteful government spending, and that is exactly what we are doing. This program was not only wasteful, it was also using public money to support an openly partisan and political organization,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Fox News Digital.

She continued, “Politicized NGOs like Eradicate Hate have been siphoning away taxpayer dollars for far too long. We are ending the grift.”

The elimination of “woke” DEI policies and programs was a staple campaign promise of President Trump during the 2024 election. Upon entering office, he immediately signed the executive order “Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing,” eliminating “all discriminatory programs.”
