Dinesh D’Souza set to release book expanding on ‘2000 Mules’ this fall

Conservative filmmaker and podcast host Dinesh D’Souza is set to release a book about the evidence of ballot trafficking detailed in his hit documentary film, “2000 Mules.” According to a report from Yahoo Entertainment, his book is set to release in October 2022. The book will be based on the nationwide ballot trafficking conspiracy uncovered by the election integrity organization, True the Vote.

Per a tweet from D’Souza’s publisher, Regnery Publishing, the release date of the book was rescheduled from August to October 25 due to a “publishing error.”

Yahoo reported that a Twitter user named Nancy Levine shared screenshots from an email sent by Regenry Publishing that issued a recall of the current copies of the book ahead of its rescheduled October release date.

Last week, D’Souza shared on Twitter and Truth Social that the film “2000 Mules” was back up on Amazon and had rocketed to No. 1 in sales among documentaries online. The documentary originally premiered in May to sold-out theaters nationwide.

President Donald Trump even hosted a glitzy premiere for the film at his personal estate in Mar-a-Lago, Florida. The premiere drew invitees like Trump-endorsed Arizona GOP gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake, as well as Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn and renowned investigative journalist Lara Logan.

“2000 Mules” garnered national attention for exposing evidence of ballot trafficking in five key states during the 2020 presidential election. True the Vote utilized geotracking technology to pinpoint the movements of ballot traffickers, or “mules.”

D’Souza noted on Twitter in September in response to an AP report that corroborated the fact that cellphones have “unique codes to target you for promotions.”

“More evidence that cell phone geotracking works reliably and is widely used for commercial and law enforcement purposes,” he said. “This is the exact same technology used to bust illegal ballot trafficking in #2000Mules[.]”
