Billionaire Elon Musk raised concerns over the discovery that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) warned against the risks of allowing mass mail-in ballots in the 2020 presidential election.
He responded to a lengthy thread from America First Legal which displayed DHS’s lack of response to these election security risks. Musk stated what many Americans have been expressing for over three years: “Very concerning.”
America First Legal (AFL) noted, “We sued the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, the censorship arm of DHS.”
“Our lawsuit unearthed new docs showing that the deep state knew the risks of mass mail voting in 2020 but censored these criticisms as ‘disinformation,’” they added.
Then, AFL shared a document created by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) which noted that ballot printing issues, mail processing failures, and voter registration data attacks are more likely to occur during the mail-in voting process.
In addition, the process of sending and receiving mail-in ballots was also listed as a threat in itself.
America First Legal then revealed, “CISA was also aware that mass ‘vote-by-mail’ schemes posed ‘major challenges,’ including ‘the process of mailing and returning ballots,’ the ‘high numbers of improperly completed ballots (figures not yet released),’ and ‘the shortage of personnel to process ballots in a prompt manner.’
While in-person voting was deemed safe by September 2020, America First Legal posted, “CISA continued supporting the unprecedented voting policy changes implemented across the states in 2020.”
It alleged that CISA allowed the mail-in voting plan to unfold despite categorizing it as a top risk and sharing the information just days before the election.
Furthermore, instead of focusing on this main risk, America First Legal alleges that “CISA appeared to focus by far the most on monitoring and censoring the mail-in voting risk ‘narrative.’”
CISA hired a contractor called Deloitte “to report on “Daily Social Media Trends” relating to the U.S. Election — including narratives relating to “Vote-By-Mail” — and to flag specific social media posts for CISA’s awareness and attention.”
“Deloitte’s reports provided CISA with confirmation that its social media monitoring and censorship apparatus was working,” the thread went on.
CISA then allegedly formed the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP) to censor Americans concerned about mail-in ballots and election integrity.
While the Biden administration continues to rule over the nation, the legitimacy of the 2020 election is still being questioned, as is the validity of mass mail-in ballots in free and fair elections.
Last month, a Heartland Institute/Rasmussen poll revealed that 1 in 5 voters admitted to committing voter fraud by abusing the mail-in ballot system, per RSBN.
In July 2022, a single county in Arizona was sued for sending out 63,000 incorrect mail-in ballots, according to RSBN.
Furthermore, RSBN also reported that the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled to ban ballot drop boxes in February 2022.
This was in response to the Richard Teigen v. Wisconsin Elections Commission case, which sought to determine the legality of the commission’s guidance to use drop boxes and mail-in ballots.
