Fighting a secular culture: President Trump is a defender of Christian values

by David Crum

Christians continue to serve as a significant voting bloc in the Republican party. At one point in history, Bible-believing Christians were welcomed with open arms by the Democratic party. Through legislative actions and the party’s current make-up, those days are long gone.

President Donald Trump knows he has won the majority of votes from Christians in the past two presidential elections. Nothing appears to be different in the 2024 run, where believers are expected to show up for Trump in large numbers.

As apparent across the nation, many within the United States are embracing secularism more openly, worrying Christians that their religious liberty is not only at stake but perhaps an obstacle for radical left politicians.

As the nation’s leader, Trump not only defended pivotal Christian principles such as the right to life, school choice and religious liberty but also championed such matters.

President Trump and the Federal Court System

Trump’s legacy will be felt for years due to the appointment of conservative justices in the Supreme Court and lower circuit courts across the country. This achievement has already proven to protect Christians in court rulings that can’t be overlooked. When rights and civil liberties are in jeopardy, judicial rulings are often the last resort to solidify freedom in a nation with a distinct connection to Christianity and its tenets.

Modern-day secularism is nothing short of socialism and communism and is at odds with Christianity. It’s no coincidence that most Christian nations in history tend to be countries with a deep-rooted connection to liberty.

A conservative court system can give Christians a sigh of relief, combating secularism at a powerful level. For this reason alone, a vote for Trump is imperative to ensure the nation’s founding principles of Christianity last for decades.

President Trump and Education

President Trump was among the first presidents to acknowledge homeschooling as a parental right and even encouraged it. He knows quite well that the public school system is not the same as it was in past years and is a form of indoctrination for American youth. He also encourages private education and charter schools, along with advocating for school choice, which can potentially shape our nation’s soul.

Change often occurs within educational initiatives. During World War II, German POWs were re-educated on the principles of liberty and democracy. Our nation is currently witnessing the opposite effect, with children being taught radical Marxist theories and social justice principles that erase our founding history.

Besides social justice, parents in many parts of the country are confronted with the issue of controlling school districts and state attempts to exert more control than parents in matters concerning children and gender identity.

It’s difficult to imagine such things occurring in the United States, but it serves as an example of how dangerous secularism is to education. The appointment of conservative judges could be one of the final hopes for patriotism and conservatism in the U.S.

Trump’s critics claim he runs a fear-based campaign, but conservatives view it as a campaign based on reality. When observing the United Kingdom and Canada, one can see that their current political landscape appears to be leaning towards socialism, which might infringe upon the rights of their populations. Ask any Christian in the United Kingdom about their perception of safety and belief in the right to express themselves. Conservatives have recently faced arrests for expressing their views on social media platforms.

This presidential election is vital to our present and future. By selecting conservative judges for the court, Trump demonstrated his loyalty to conservatism and emphasized the importance of parental control in education decisions. These are the two most crucial aspects of safeguarding Christianity and freedom in the country’s present and future.
