For daring to question ‘totally compromised’ New York judge, Trump gets hit with expanded GAG ORDER

President Trump has made it clear that he believes that the legal cases that he is facing in 2024 are the product of a Biden-led “election interference” ploy aimed at hurting his chances of reclaiming the White House.

Almost as if to illustrate his point, Trump has been hit with yet another attack on his First Amendment rights following his very public statements about New York Judge Juan Merchan and his daughter’s alleged political motivations.

For questioning the actions and motivations of Merchan, Trump has now been slapped with an expanded gag order on the heels of a “limited” order that was issued last week.

According to The New York Times, the new order has been expanded to bar Trump from publicly speaking about witnesses, jurors, prosecutors, court staff, and now, the related families of the judge and district attorney.

Previously, Trump had questioned the motivations of Judge Merchan in the wake of disturbing reports alleging that his daughter, Loren Merchan, had fundraised tens of millions of dollars for Democrat clients through her political consulting firm, Authentic Campaigns, based upon her father’s work overseeing Trump’s high profile “hush money” case, per RSBN.

Trump accused Merchan of being “totally corrupt” and labeled his daughter, Loren, as a “Rabid Trump Hater.”

This week, upon hearing that his gag order in the Manhattan criminal case had been expanded, Trump jumped on Truth Social, scorching the order from the judge and refusing to back down on his arguments.

He fired off, “They can talk about me, but I can’t talk about them??? That sounds fair, doesn’t it? This Judge should be recused, and the case should be thrown out. There has virtually never been a more conflicted judge than this one. ELECTION INTERFERENCE at its worst!”

Judge Juan Merchan has scheduled the start date for the trial for April 15, 2024.
