Former Congresswoman and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard endorsed President Donald Trump on Monday during an event with the National Guard Association.

Gabbard reflected on Trump’s courage in the “pursuit of peace, seeing war as the last resort.”

During her speech, she strongly criticized the Democrats’ lack of leadership in foreign policy, claiming that “we are a nation at the brink of war.”

She also expressed growing concerns about the current administration’s weaponization of the justice system against political opponents, who are deemed as a threat.

“This administration has us facing multiple wars on multiple fronts in regions around the world, and closer to the brink of nuclear war than we ever have been before,” Gabbard said. “This is one of the main reasons why I am committed to doing all that I can to send President Trump back to the White House, where he can once again serve us as our commander-in-chief.”

Gabbard was also recently noted as helping Trump with preparations for his upcoming presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris. After leaving the Democratic Party during the Biden administration, Gabbard has appeared at a variety of conservative events.

The former Democratic Hawaiian congresswoman has also served in the military, including deployments with the Hawaii Army National Guard to Iraq and Kuwait.

Like Robert Kennedy Jr., also a former Democrat, Gabbard stands strongly and proudly in support of Trump’s initiative of toward peace through strength as the next president of the U.S.
