Prominent conservative radio and TV host Glenn Beck announced in a Twitter post on Friday morning he will not “engage in the ‘Trump vs DeSantis’ fight conservatives are having.”

Taking a less popular stance on the festering debate on who conservatives should support in 2024, Beck urged fellow conservatives to remain united and refused to take sides.

“I am a big supporter of both men. And I urge you to not engage in this,” said Beck, who is also the CEO of Mercury Radio Arts, the parent company of The Blaze.

Warning conservatives against division, he added, “This is what Democrats want. And unlike the Democrats, we are blessed to have TWO great fighters on the side of freedom.”

Glenn’s comments came the morning after President Trump issued a statement about DeSantis, sharing why he is questioning the Florida governor’s loyalty to him.

The 45th president wrote Thursday night that DeSantis, or “Ron DeSanctimonious,” was “politically dead” when he first came to Trump in 2017. He implied that if it weren’t for his endorsement, DeSantis would not have won against Adam Putnam.

Trump also said he “stopped his Election from being stolen,” he continued, “And now, Ron DeSanctimonious is playing games!”

Slamming the governor’s lack of clarity on whether he is running in 2024, Trump quipped, “in terms of loyalty and class, that’s really not the right answer.”

DeSantis has yet to comment on the 45th president’s remarks.

Amid Trump’s clear growing dissatisfaction with DeSantis, conservatives have begun taking sides. Some all are going all in for DeSantis, while others are standing with President Trump.

Glenn Beck appears to be one of the few political commentators urging conservatives to refrain from taking a side.
