The SBA Pro-Life American Candidate Fund recently endorsed Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., for reelection and asserted that he is the “most pro-family” governor in America.
As recently reported by Townhall, SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser recently stated, “Were proud to endorse Governor Ron DeSantis, a fearless advocate for the unborn and their mothers and for the will of Floridians.”
DeSantis previously signed a bill protecting the life of an unborn baby after 15 weeks of pregnancy. The constitutionality of that bill is currently being litigated.
Gov. DeSantis has taken additional measures in the State of Florida that align with his family-first philosophy. For example, he signed the “Parental Rights in Education” bill, which gives parents more control over what their children learn in school.
He protected parents and children against efforts to indoctrinate and sexualize kids in Florida’s public schools by prohibiting the discussion of sexual orientation and gender identity in kindergarten through third grade. He also pushed back against efforts to implement critical race theory and other “woke” ideologies in Florida’s public schools.
In addition, DeSantis protected biological women and girls from transgender athletes who sought to compete against them. During the Covid outbreak, the governor supported Floridians’ right to choose whether to receive the Covid vaccine, fought hard against mandatory mask mandates in schools, and backed parents’ rights to decide what was best for their children.
Since his first day in office, Gov. DeSantis has fought to protect families, parents, and children throughout the Sunshine State. He represents tradition, faith, freedom, fairness, truth, and family.
The recent endorsement is well-deserved.
