As a week of chaos and incompetency in the Arizona elections has left many Americans confounded in the Grand Canyon State, some concerned citizens are taking action on behalf of the sanctity of the ballot box.
According to a report from The Gateway Pundit, a group of private citizens released a statement on Monday, calling for a new and legitimate midterm election on Dec. 6.
“Between the ballot stuffing via ‘Drawer Three,’ the 30% voting machine failures on Election Day, and unexplained extended ballot counting, the election in Arizona cannot be trusted,” their statement said, per The Gateway Pundit’s report.
The private group, which identifies themselves simply as “Arizona citizens,” has also demanded that the new election be held in person with photo ID, paper ballots, and hand counting.
The grassroots movement arising in Arizona comes on the heels of reports of mainstream media attempting to call the race for Democrat gubernatorial nominee Katie Hobbs, who is also the current Arizona secretary of state.
Hobbs refused to recuse herself from overseeing her own election.
Further, the vote-counting chaos and six-day obfuscation of releasing the votes in the state of Arizona have prompted Americans nationwide to scrutinize the validity of the midterms there.
On Tuesday morning, “Recount” and “DO NOT CONCEDE” were trending nationally on Twitter, with proponents of election integrity urging Lake not to concede, considering the massively incompetent election processes that took place.
President Donald Trump even called for a new election in Arizona, citing allegations of broken machines in Republican-voting areas, per RSBN. Trump stated on Truth Social: “Idiot, and possibly corrupt, officials have lost control of the tainted Election in Arizona. MACHINES BROKEN IN REPUBLICAN AREAS. A NEW ELECTION MUST BE CALLED FOR IMMEDIATELY!”
