President Donald Trump is headed to Rapid City, South Dakota, on Friday, where he will appear with Gov. Kristi Noem, R-S.D., at the Monumental Leaders rally.
Trump’s visit to the state will be the first time that he has returned there since the Mount Rushmore Fireworks Celebration in 2020, and it will be the first major campaign appearance he will appear at in the wake of back-to-back indictments in August.
The event will be held at “The Monument” in Rapid City, with the program scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. ET.
According to South Dakota Republican Party Chairman John Wilk, “Our Monumental Leaders rally just got 45 times better as we look forward to hearing from the original America First leader, President Donald Trump. President Trump accomplished so much for our country during his time in office. As the leading presidential candidate, he can inspire our Republican Party to even greater heights.”
