Kari Lake broke her silence following Monday night reports that Democrat Katie Hobbs was projected to win Arizona’s gubernatorial race nearly a week after a questionable election night.

Lake tweeted, “Arizonans know BS when they see it.”

Arizona, home to one of the most competitive races of the 2022 midterms, failed to deliver results on election night after halting ballot counting, causing many voters to question the state’s election integrity.

Despite the state’s delayed election results, Lake remained confident that she would triumph over Hobbs, maintaining she had “100% confidence” she would be the next governor of Arizona, per RSBN.

“I am 100% going to win. I have absolute 100% confidence that I will be the next Governor of Arizona,” Lake told Fox News’ Sean Hannity last week. “I think the Republican Party should continue along with America first policies like we are with solutions, common sense solutions,” Lake added, spotlighting South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, Virginia Gov. Glenn Younkin, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

At the time, Lake claimed that she would come out on top because “voters in Arizona are tired of shoddy elections that are run by imbeciles,” adding that “incompetent” Maricopa County election officials were “dragging their feet in delivering what everybody wants to know,” according to RSBN.

Frustrated with Arizona’s election process, President Donald Trump called for a new one to take place “immediately.”

“Idiot, and possibly corrupt, officials have lost control of the tainted Election in Arizona,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “MACHINES BROKEN IN REPUBLICAN AREAS. A NEW ELECTION MUST BE CALLED FOR IMMEDIATELY!”
