Arizona election integrity warrior Kari Lake called for unity this week among GOP primary voters, urging them to rally around President Trump and focus on ousting Joe Biden in 2024.
“This primary is over. It’s time to rally around @realDonaldTrump,” she wrote on Twitter. “We must focus our energy on exposing that fool @JoeBiden, registering voters, and funding ballot chasing operations in swing states.”
She added, “We should not be wasting time and money fighting ourselves.”
Her Twitter post cited a screenshot from a Fox News poll that shared data from a recent poll among GOP primary voters. In the poll, Trump held 53 percent of the vote compared to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R), who scored 21 percent of support.
All other declared and potential candidates did not garner more than single-digit support, including former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, Former Vice President Mike Pence, and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy.
In the 2024 GOP race for the Republican nomination, President Donald Trump has rocketed upward since announcing his presidential bid in November 2022. According to a new poll shared on Fox Business, Trump had managed to net at least 11 major endorsements from Florida Republicans, while DeSantis has only managed to net one in his home state, Rep. Laurel Lee, R-Fla.
President Trump also shared a recent online poll on his Truth Social account, attaching a screenshot from @Politics_Polls on Twitter that asked who respondents would vote for if they had to choose between Joe Biden and President Donald Trump today.
80 percent of Twitter users indicated that they would vote for Trump, while only 20 percent indicated that they would vote for Biden. The poll utilized data from 99,815 people.
RSBN previously reported that Trump held a staggering 45-point in a recent Clarity Campaign poll over Gov. DeSantis, netting 65 percent of GOP primary voter support against the governor’s 20 percent.
