Arizona Republican U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake is steadily gaining major steam ahead of the 2024 November election, and in the last month, she has not only pulled in an impressive fundraising haul but earned the endorsements of several key political players.
Last month, RSBN reported that Lake had raked in $2.1 million in campaign fundraising in the first quarter of her Senate campaign, foreshadowing a likely continued upward ascent for the former gubernatorial candidate’s political aspirations.
On Monday, the Daily Caller reported that Lake had netted the endorsements of Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., and Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky. Both men are well-known conservative figures, and their endorsement follows on the heels of President Donald Trump’s endorsement of Lake upon the launch of her campaign in 2023.
Trump stated in his endorsement last fall, “When I’m back in the White House, I need strong fighters like Kari in the Senate. She is a fighter. She’s strong and she’s good.”
Rep. Gaetz told the Daily Caller, “Kari Lake is MAGA to her core and cannot be bought by the establishment. I am proud to endorse her for the United States Senate in Arizona. I am very much look[ing] forward to watching her shake up the halls of power.”
Sen. Paul’s endorsement was focused largely on Lake’s “desire to defeat the Washington War Machine and restore American liberties.”
On X, Lake responded to Gaetz’s and Paul’s endorsements, writing, “I am so thankful to have the endorsement of America First warriors Senator @RandPaul and Rep. @mattgaetz. They are champions for fiscal responsibility, liberty, and fighting against the Washington War machine. I look forward to working with them to implement President Trump’s agenda!”
