First Lady Melania Trump announced on Thursday she is minting a brand new NFT in support of the foster care community during national foster care month.
The First Lady told Business Insider, “Many children, including those in the foster care community, need extra support to realize their personal American Dream.” She explained, “Through the sale of The MetaRose, we can lift up foster children and provide opportunities for them to thrive.”
The “MetaRose” NFT has launched just in time for Mother’s Day, providing a unique way to not only honor foster care but mothers themselves.
Trump added, “I am proud to present The MetaRose NFT in time to honor the mothers who support our Nation’s future generations.”
The MetaRose NFT is currently available for purchase on Melania Trump’s website, where she has sold other NFT pieces in recent months. Her first venture into NFT investments came in December when she launched “Melania’s Vision” in support of her Be Best initiative.
Despite facing constant attacks from the liberal media, Melania continues to support the Be Best initiative in America. Her website explains, “Mrs. Trump continues to advocate for child welfare, and for improving the lives and well-being of children – including children in foster care.”
The First Lady’s latest charitable work through the sale of the MetaRose truly represents her strong commitment to foster care.
Rep. Jackie Walorski, R-Ind., and Melania Trump wrote an article this week emphasizing the importance of foster care. They said, “Foster care protects children, strengthens families, and builds a better future for our Nation’s youth.”
Walorski and Trump highlighted the need for Americans to support the foster care system, saying, “We must work together to build a framework for long-term economic stability and success—including for older foster youth and those aging out of the foster care system.”
Trump and Walorski concluded that by supporting those in the foster care system and those working hard to help children in need, “Together, we can uplift children in the foster care community and foster a brighter future.”
