MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell leads his Republican primary opponents in Minnesota’s gubernatorial race, new polling shows.

The survey conducted by KSTP/SurveyUSA between June 11 and 16 reported that 27 percent of Republican respondents supported Lindell.

Likewise, 22 percent of respondents supported Minnesota House Speaker Lisa Demuth, and 17 percent backed businessman Kendall Qualls, who previously secured the GOP endorsement, according to Newsweek.

An additional 24 percent were reportedly undecided.

The survey found that men more so supported Lindell, with 31 percent backing him compared to 22 percent for Demuth, and 17 percent for Qualls.

Women were more evenly divided, with 23 percent supporting Lindell, and 22 percent for Demuth, with 18 percent backing Qualls.

Lindell also led with Republican voters under 50, as among those aged 35-49, 35 percent supported Lindell, contrast to 16 percent for both Demuth and Qualls.

Demuth outperformed Lindell with older votes, receiving 33 percent support among those older than 65, compared to 25 percent for Lindell, and 14 percent for Qualls.

While Lindell fares well against his Republican primary opponents, the general election will prove more difficult to win. Minnesota has not elected a Republican governor since Tim Pawlenty in 2006. The state has also remained in Democrat hands in every presidential election since 1976.

Meanwhile, the likely Democrat nominee, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, is leading Lindell in a general election matchup.

The latest Minnesota Star Tribune poll from earlier this month found that Klobuchar led Lindell with 53 percent support to his 36 percent support.

Lindell, a well-known Minnesota businessman, has been a prominent supporter of President Donald Trump, which could help his bonafides among low propensity voters for the general election.

Still, the race will nonetheless prove a difficult battle for him in a blue-leaning state.

Minnesota’s primary election is scheduled for August 11, 2026.
