Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., introduced legislation Thursday to label violent pro-abortion protest groups as terrorist organizations.
The bill, designated by Greene as the “Protecting Mothers and Babies from Terrorism Act,” would label violent protestors as domestic terrorists and allow law enforcement to better protect Americans from the violence of the pro-abortion movement.
According to The National Pulse, the bill details various attacks that have been explicitly conducted by pro-abortion groups such as “Jane’s Revenge” and “Ruth Sent Us.” If the bill becomes law, it will label the violent actions of these two groups as domestic terrorism. Greene claimed in a video message that these two groups have claimed responsibility for fire bombing pregnancy centers and women’s resource centers.
After introducing the legislation, Greene tweeted, “As we prayerfully await the decisions of the Supreme Court tomorrow, I introduced legislation to declare pro-abortion organizations, who have fire bombed women’s pregnancy centers, as terrorist organizations.”
In her video message, Greene described the violent actions of pro-abortion groups, saying, “These are things that should never happen in America.” She added, “No woman should ever feel fear to bring their child into the world.”
Emphasizing the need to address these violent actions, Greene said, “These radical pro-abortion groups must be stopped.”
The legislation, introduced by Georgia’s congresswoman, came just one day before the Supreme Court’s long-awaited ruling on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. The Supreme Court’s Friday decision to strike down Roe v. Wade could throw the left-wing activists into upheaval.
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has warned, “We’re gonna see the Left lose their minds.”
Greene explained on social media Thursday, “The Democrats’ war on women is real and it is now being waged with firebombs. I am proud to introduce this legislation to hold these pro-abortion terrorists accountable for their crimes.”
