A total of 164,568 “excess ballots” were reportedly discovered during the 2024 election in the state of Michigan as of Oct. 29, according to multiple sources. However, Lara Trump has confirmed that the duplicates would not be counted.

Constitutional attorney Matthew DePerno posted his findings to X on Wednesday, stating, “After reviewing the Qualified Voter File (QVF) of votes actually cast as of yesterday, Oct 29, 2024, the database identifies 114,545 Michigan voters who have cast 279,113 ballots from multiple addresses across the state.”

He attached a list of dozens of votes cast from a single voter ID.

President Donald Trump’s 2024 political campaign director, James Blair, commented on the situation. He noted that the Trump campaign was monitoring the situation, “and will take any action necessary after thorough review.”

By Wednesday afternoon, co-chair of the Republican National Committee, Lara Trump, addressed the situation. She wrote, “Our election integrity team received reports of thousands of duplicate ballots in Michigan.”

“We immediately investigated and have CONFIRMED that it was a glitch in the system – these duplicates were not and WILL NOT BE COUNTED,” she added. “We are on it and protecting the vote!”
