President Donald Trump celebrated the birth of Vice President JD Vance and second lady Usha Vance’s fourth child, revealing the first picture of the baby on his Truth Social account early Monday.

“Congratulations! A perfect baby boy for the wonderful Vance family,” the president wrote.

In a joint Instagram post, the Vances said Alec Neel Vance was born Sunday morning.

“We are excited to announce that our baby boy, Alec Neel Vance, was born this morning,” they wrote. “Usha and the baby are happy and healthy, and our kids are overjoyed to meet their little brother.”

The Vances also thanked the medical staff at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and the White House Medical Unit for their care.

“The incredible military doctors and staff members of Walter Reed Medical Center and the White House Medical Unit have been a blessing,” the couple wrote. “We are deeply thankful for all they have done for our family.”

The couple announced in January that they were expecting their fourth child.

“We’re very excited to share the news that Usha is pregnant with our fourth child, a boy. Usha and the baby are doing well, and we are all looking forward to welcoming him in late July,” they wrote at the time.

“During this exciting and hectic time, we are particularly grateful for the military doctors who take excellent care of our family and for the staff members who do so much to ensure that we can serve the country while enjoying a wonderful life with our children,” they added.

JD and Usha Vance met while attending Yale Law School and married in 2014. They are also parents to sons Ewan and Vivek and daughter Mirabel.
