President Trump joined “The Dan Bongino Show” on Wednesday night following the first day of jury deliberations in the New York hush money trial. The pair discussed various aspects of the trial, including the Democrat’s incessant intimidation of the Supreme Court justices.

Bongino referenced a post on X from radio and Fox News host Mark Levin, where he argued that if President Trump was convicted, “the Supreme Court should take this thing immediately on due process violations.”

Bongino pointedly remarked, “They’ve yet to state a crime, no less prove beyond a reasonable doubt you’ve committed one.” He then asked President Trump what his thoughts were on the weak case and “the left’s attempts right now to intimidate the Supreme Court, going after Alito and others.” He told Trump, “They’re clearly doing that to send a message in case this winds up at the Supreme Court.”

President Trump told Bongino, “Well they’re trying to play the ref. Alito’s a tough guy and he’s strong and very, very smart. And he put out a great statement today, in fact, I commented on it. I don’t know if you saw that, on Truth, your people love Truth and so do I.”

Trump said that the left intimidates the justices, noting that it is against the law to protest outside of their homes, which has happened multiple times in the last few years. Trump told Bongino, “They haven’t done a thing,” referring to the Department of Justice’s failure to prosecute or stop the protestors.

Trump remarked on the conservative justices on the Court, “Alito is great, Thomas is great.” He added that “people are starting to warm up to” the three justices he appointed. He made clear that the justices have “gotta be strong and they’ve gotta be tough.” He emphasized the importance of being a Supreme Court justice, especially because of the pressure that is placed on them by the left to rule a certain way.

Trump said that the Democrats also target “judges and a lot of different people” to the point that “they are afraid to function.” He told Bongino, “The big problem here that they don’t talk about is the problem is the left, and the danger comes from, the big danger comes from the left.”

The jury resumed its deliberations on Thursday. RSBN will continue its live updates from the trial.
