President Trump delivered inspiring remarks on Friday at the Faith and Freedom Coalition in Nashville, Tennessee, encouraging supporters to rally around American faith and spirit as the 2022 midterms heat up.

“In America, we don’t worship government,” he said, “we worship God!”

Trump added that he believed 2022 would be the “biggest turnout in midterm history,” heralding the Faith and Freedom Coalition as the “front line” of defense for Christians and people of faith in the United States.

Trump also touted traditional American values of faith, family, and freedom. “These are the values that sustain our movement,” he said. “…But today, each of these principles is under tremendous threat.”

He asserted that everything Americans hold dear is “under merciless assault by the radical left” who are taking a “sledgehammer” to everything from organized religion to parental rights.

Trump pointed out the moral issues of American society as well, remarking, “This is not just a political problem, this is a spiritual problem.” He continued, saying that politics “has become the religion” of the radical left.

The 45th president warned, “The greatest danger to America is the destruction of our nation from the people within.”
