President Donald Trump has endorsed Alabama Rep. Barry Moore for the state’s upcoming U.S. Senate race.
Moore, a Republican who has served in Congress since 2021, is running to succeed GOP Sen. Tommy Tuberville, who is seeking the governorship.
“Barry Moore, running for United States Senate in the GREAT State of Alabama, one of my all time favorites, is a Fantastic guy and a totally reliable MAGA Warrior,” President Trump wrote Thursday in a post to Truth Social.
He continued, “[Moore] has my Complete and Total Endorsement – He will never let you down. Win, Barry, Win!”
Moore’s Republican primary challengers include Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall, former Trump administration official Morgan Murphy, business owner Rodney Walker, and former Navy SEAL Jared Hudson, JustTheNews reported.
The Alabama Senate seat is considered a safe Republican race. The winner of the state’s primary will likely win the general election this November.
