President Trump has shared a new book recommendation with his supporters. In a Truth Social post on Tuesday, Trump endorsed a new book by Fox News host Dana Perino.
“A great new book by Dana Perino, a FoxNews Star and very good person, is called, “I Wish Someone Had Told Me…” The title says it all. Much to be learned about life and success. Get it NOW!!!” Trump said.
Trump’s post comes on the day of Pernio’s latest book being released. Perino, co-anchor of “America’s Newsroom” and co-host of “The Five,” on Fox News, is the author of three previous New York Times bestsellers that offer life and career advice.
In her latest book, Perino shares wisdom from her own experiences and insight gathered from friends and family members for readers who are looking for guidance in their own careers. The book offers relatable advice when it comes to the challenges of navigating careers and balancing work with relationships and family.
The book features input from fellow Fox News hosts, including Bret Baier, Jesse Watters, Ainsley Earhardt, and Martha MacCallum.
In describing her goals for the book, Perino said she often gets questions about career advice from young people.
“I’ve found that since I left the White House and started mentoring younger people that the questions don’t change that much — but the hunger for more advice and guidance continues to grow,” Perino said. “So I decided to refresh my advice in a post-Covid pre-AI world, and to gather the best advice from the most wonderful group of advisors and mentors I could put together in one book.”
Perino also shared that she continues to learn and expand her own outlook based on the advice from people who contributed to the book.
“I learned so much, such as how to better handle disappointment and rejection; how to stay curious and be a person that continues to grow; and how to laugh at circumstances instead of getting bogged down by them,” Perino said. “I think I’ll be a better mentor now that I have put into a one-stop shop so much rich new advice that I can use to inform my thinking.”
