President Donald Trump seemed to take a jab this week at superstar Taylor Swift and her new husband, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
On Truth Social, the president posted a headline from a news story titled, “Swift and Kelce’s mystery dog debuts at Trump airport in West Palm.”
The president captioned the photo with this comment: “So cool!!! President DJT[.]”
Last week, Palm Beach International Airport in Florida was officially renamed the “Presidential Donald J. Trump International Airport.” As reported by RSBN, this name change came on the heels of legislation signed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), which legally greenlit the transition.
Swift and Kelce were recently married in a reportedly massive wedding ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City in early July.
The president’s comment on the report about Swift and Kelce is not the first time he’s taken a sarcastic swipe at the singer. In 2024, Swift endorsed then-presidential Democrat candidate Kamala Harris while President Trump was running for re-election.
“I was not a Taylor Swift fan, it was just a question of time,” he told Fox News of the endorsement in 2024. “She couldn’t possibly endorse Biden. You look at Biden, you couldn’t possibly endorse him. But she’s a very liberal person. She seems to always endorse a Democrat. And she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace.
Later, he wrote simply on Truth Social: “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
After winning the presidential election, President Trump had no qualms airing his beef with Swift from the Oval Office. In August 2025, he criticized her as a “Woke singer” after Swift was booed at the 2025 Super Bowl game.
“She was booed out of the Super Bowl and became, NO LONGER HOT,” he wrote. “The tide has seriously turned — Being WOKE is for losers, being Republican is what you want to be.”
