In a strange turn of events, a rare albino buffalo has caught the attention of the crowds of visitors at Bangladesh’s National Zoo after visitors pointed out the animal’s distinctive blonde hairstyle. The hairstyle that has gone viral resembles President Trump’s signature look.
According to Breitbart, the rare albino buffalo nicknamed “Donald Trump” has become a viral sensation because of its impressive blonde tuft, which many believe resembles President Trump’s hairstyle. The animal first became a sensation after a farmer noticed the distinctive look, and the video went viral. Shortly after, hundreds of people made their way to a farm outside Dhaka to see the animal.
The rare buffalo was first sold and was meant to be slaughtered during Eid al-Adha, the Muslim “Feast of Sacrifice,” but government officials sent the animal to the national zoo after citing security concerns about the increase in visitors to the farm to see the buffalo.
Now, the national zoo is experiencing large crowds, all hoping to catch a glimpse of the famous hairstyle recognizable around the world. A student in Dhaka, Mohammed Nasim, described why the buffalo got its nickname.
Breitbart reports that Nasim said, “There is a resemblance to Donald Trump in its eyes, hairstyle, and skin color.” He added, “And just as Donald Trump has a distinctive personality and lifestyle, this buffalo, after going viral, is now living a similar kind of life, enjoying a lot of attention and special treatment.”
Mohammad Habibur Rahman, a zoo visitor from the southwestern Bangladeshi city of Jashore, shared his excitement at visiting “Donald Trump.” AP News shared what he said, “Since before Eid, I had been seeing posts on Facebook saying that ‘Donald Trump’ would be sacrificed. Later, I heard that instead of being sacrificed, it had been placed in a zoo.”
“So, I thought I would come to the zoo and see ‘Donald Trump’ for myself,” he added.
Regardless of politics, President Trump’s image and brand remain instantly identifiable worldwide, and something as simple as the case of the rare buffalo underscores his global visibility.
