Joe Biden’s continued assertions that never once discussed his son Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings have again been called into question following new bombshell allegations.
A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request obtained through a lawsuit by America First Legal found that Joe Biden had emailed his son, Hunter, his brother, James, and their firms tens of thousands of times while he served as vice president, The Federalist reported.
According to a joint status report published Friday by the Washington D.C. District Court, the National Archives admitted that it was aware of 4,243 emails between Joe and Hunter Biden. It also knew of 1,751 emails between Joe and James Biden, another 19,335 emails between the Biden family’s private equity firm Rosemont Seneca, and 3,738 emails between Joe and James’ consulting firm Lion Hall Group.
“These damning numbers further confirm that there was never a wall separating the Office of the Vice President and Hunter Biden’s business endeavors,” AFL wrote to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday. “In fact, there was extensive commingling between them.”
In response to the report, the House Oversight Committee noted that Joe Biden’s vice presidential office emailed Hunter, James Biden, and the family businesses more than 29,000 times.
“Presidential Candidate Joe Biden promised there would be an ‘absolute wall’ between his work as an elected official and his family’s ‘business,’” the House Committee wrote to X on Tuesday.
They continued, “That doesn’t match his track record. New info from the National Archives shows that Biden’s VP Office emailed with his son Hunter, his brother Jim, and both of their ‘businesses’ OVER 29,000 TIMES.“
Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, R-Ky., also maintained that Joe Biden “lied” about reportedly using the power of the vice presidency to influence his family’s business dealings.
In a post to X on Tuesday, Comer wrote that Biden “lied by telling the American people that there was an ‘absolute wall’ between his official government duties and his personal life.”
In accordance with Joe Biden’s denial of any involvement in his son’s foreign business dealings, one former Hunter Biden business associate and friend, Devon Archer, previously testified that then-Vice President Biden played an integral role in his son’s entrepreneurial ventures.
Per RSBN, Devon Archer testified that the value of adding Hunter Biden to Burisma Holdings Limited, a Ukrainian energy company, was “the brand,” confirming that Vice President Biden was “the brand” and that 20 phone calls were made to sell “the brand.”
Archer also testified that Hunter Biden had put his father on speakerphone or referenced his father being on the phone with foreign investors or foreign nationals he was working with “maybe 20 times.”
Subsequently, Burisma founder and CEO Mykola Zlochevsky was under investigation by the Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was later fired after pressure from then-Vice President Biden.
The Biden family and their business associates also allegedly received over $20 million in payments from oligarchs from Russia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine as Biden served as vice president, according to bank records reported by the Oversight Committee.
The funds were then reportedly sent to bank accounts “tied to Devon Archer,” according to the Oversight Committee, of which Hunter Biden received “incremental payments” from “foreign sources” in order to “hide the source and size of the payments” while creating a web of more than 20 different companies.
Joe Biden has denied any involvement in his son’s business dealings at least 16 times, according to the House Oversight Committee. Biden has maintained that he and his son have “always kept everything separate,” specifically regarding his reported business dealings with Ukraine.
