Former advisor to President Donald Trump and GETTR CEO Jason Miller said during an appearance on “Just the News, No Noise” that he thinks the 45th president may announce a potential 2024 run after the midterm elections.
Per Just the News, Miller said, “I hear him make a little noise. It could be pretty soon after the midterms. My gut tells me it’s gonna be a little closer to the first of the year or maybe even just after the first of the year.”
President Trump has all but announced a third White House bid. In October, he teased an eager audience of supporters in Robstown, Texas, with the possibility of another run, declaring:
“The election was rigged and stolen and now our country is being destroyed. I ran twice, I won twice, I did much better the second time than I did the first, getting millions more votes in 2020 than we got in 2016, and likewise getting more votes than any sitting president in the history of our country by far!”
He added, “And now, in order to make our country successful, safe and glorious again, I will probably have to do it again!”
Miller is not the only person who believes Trump will announce a presidential campaign after the midterms. Dick Morris, a former advisor to President Bill Clinton and a well-known political consultant, said in June that he believed Trump would run in 2024 and win the nomination again, per the New York Post.
The Republicans are in an excellent position to take back the House and Senate and many governorships around the nation. According to recent betting favorites from Polymarket, the GOP has an 88 percent chance of winning the House and a 65 percent chance of winning the Senate.
